The Philippine Dermatological Society in its desire to help the public distinguish legitimate, board certified dermatologists from fake pseudodermatologists, conceptualized the making of a sign or symbol that PDS members can easily display or use in their respective clinics. Greetings! The Philippine Dermatological Society will once again be hosting its 34th Annual Convention at the Crowne Plaza Galleria Hotel on November 11-12, 2010.
The hardworking Organizing Committee, headed by Dr. Teresita Gabriel, has provided an avenue for continuing medical education on the current developments and management options in dermatology as exemplified by the preconvention and main convention themes entitled “Trends, Tools and Techniques in Dermatology” and “Discovering New Realms in Dermatology”, respectively. The scientific committee takes pride in having invited excellent lecturers, both local and international, to serve as the faculty of speakers.
I strongly encourage all our colleagues not to miss the opportunity to be a participant in this year’s convention.
