Skin Safety Campaign Outline

General Objective:
To advocate public safety on skin health through information dissemination and consultation with competent and certified PDS (Philippine Dermatological Society) dermatologists.

Specific Objectives:

1. To inform the public that the dermatologist is the medical specialist for the skin, hair and nails.
2. To promote awareness of effective and safe medical, surgical and cosmetic treatments for skin problems through consultation with trained, skilled and certified dermatologists.
3. To make the public aware that PDS is the ONLY specialty society for dermatology recognized by the Philippine Medical Association and therefore the authority on dermatology in the Philippines.
4. To enable patients to recognize and differentiate the authorized PDS dermatologists from the pseudo-dermatologists.
