Last October 2, 2019, the Department of Health had a meeting with the Philippine Dermatological Society on the planning for the National Skin Prevention & Detection Week with Ma’am Pacita Alano, Dr. Julie Mart Rubite and staff of Leprosy Control Group. This was held at the DPCB Bldg 14, DOH Compound, San Lazaro, Manila.
Also present at the meeting were Dr. Ma. Purita Paz- Lao (PDS President), Dr. Ma. Teresita G. Gabriel (Chair of PDS Leprosy committee), Dr. Julie Pabico (Chair PDS Skinweek Task Force), and Dr. Vilma Pelino (Dermatology Consultant East Avenue Medical Center) and residents of RITM and EAMC.
